History of Salem

This is Oregon Capital State. There are behind of Willamette University. This building was constructed 1977. It is a symbol of Salem. If you lose a way, you find it and come back to Willamette University.



This is a replica of bell of freedome. Real this can watch in Philadelphia. It was gave from the US government  in Independenceday 1950.

Government and Shopping

Oregon state does not have a sales tax. Tax free! Everyone can buy many things cheaper than other states.
However, the government's finances are not bad because they have a income taxes.

Black Tie

On February, Black Tie party held. It was so fun. Everyone wore a suit or dress. This party was very  big. American party was so exciting.  Dinner was good.

Lu Au

Lu Au is a Hawaiian event. It was so fun. Many dances were very nice. Especially men's dance was so funny and strong. And the fire dance was so exiting.

POW WOW

On March 12^th Saturday 2011, held a Pow Wow at Willamette University. It's a Native American festival. People watched Native Americans dance. It was very exciting and beautiful.

Does everyone know Kah-Nee-Ta? It is in Oregon. It's This area is Native American’s settlement. It is a Native American’s tent. Then everyone saw Native Americans for the first time, and they watched Native American’s dance. It is very precious culture.
